Does EM pay off the gas card every month?

I left EM and now I have a $500 balance on the card. I used to have the EM gas card where they would deduct my purchases directly from my paycheck so I would never have to worry about it. I only used the card once after quitting, so I understand paying that, but why has there been a balance this whole time?

Does anyone know who to contact? Citi says it's not on them since they just take the money from EM and cant help me, and HR/Payroll has been useless in directing to someone who can explain why I've been carrying a balance even though I've had deductions the whole time.

The payroll deduction payments were about a month behind the statement date.

Probably a clawback of some kind.
Look at your W-2 closely this year.
There's alot of perks they claw back.
In cahoots with the guvuhment, don't you know.

You can keep the card and the discount rate but it can no longer be deducted from your pay. You will need to payoff each month just like any other card.

This should have been reviewed and discussed during you separation including the check list.

Wow, you can't figure out your personal credit card situation? I am glad you left the company.

Dude you should be able to figure this out. Logon and look at the statements.

Once you're gone from EM they cancel the employee credit card. Account closed. Period.

Just log into your gas card account to update your information - change your auto payment, address, email, and whatever is pertinent. You are responsible for payment but won’t get the employee discount. You can continue to use the same gas card.

However, since leaving I have been buying gas from other retails like Valero and Shell. Cheaper gas.

If there is a balance you are responsible to pay it. No need to call payroll.
