Yes, its around 7-8K layoffs.
Roman will also resign at the end of it. The difference is about 50 million dollars.
Also, as he is laying off ppl, lets not forget he hired his son in law to the company. Talk about unethical.

Mark Murphy got overwhelmed with all of
the work and cut cut cut. He’s not going to be able to maintain any budget with technical debt situation and is probably one major system issue from catastrophe.

It isn’t business, it’s personal should be the new model.

For those asking above, the “message deliverers” were specially coached on what they could say if asked… “when I get more information I’ll let you know” which is code for “impacted” and you’ll probably find out at a later date. This was their training direction.

Funny how NDA’s were out and yet an SVP warned his daughter and got her out of there before she had to go through it. Impeccable timing.

A VP told employees today to turn and not look back because this isn’t loyal, caring and reliable 3M anymore. There seems to be agreement.

Morale is lower than ever and talent in the GSC’a and TCOE are nearly non existent. They are also bound by local hours and don’t work to cover the US after morning. Retention bonuses must be coming next to hold people in place until TSA’s come through for the spin-off. After supporting the spin-off those poor S-B’s on that TSA will be gone too.

Why would people stay? 3M hired many right out of high school and many don’t have a college degree. That said, they are also not motivated to work with the logjam in the talent pool, mostly dried logs weathered beyond their time.

This layoff was specially to be aimed at 14-16 and somehow those leaders again cut the working class job grades and knowledge holders. No one needs to wonder why this company can’t make progress, it is plain as day: Change resistant, technology resistant, and work resistant culture.

It is comical that no manager ever asks a team member for feedback on their direct manager. Hard to keep the good old boys club together if you care about the truth..

Thinking of everyone impacted. Lean on your networks and keep pushing. This is the chapter YOU get to write.

Just got laid off. My manager too. We were in TTS. Know of at least 3 other people laid off. All of almost 10 years at 3M

They refuse to tell us anything in MO. All they say is we don't know anything. Sourcing other people to other departments. The only way the will even consider OT is if in backorder and even then the chance is small.

Mark Murphy is absolutely one of the worst CIOs in the business. What a two faced bast4rd!

Wasn't TTS part of the advance 3m disaster or at least the poor saps saddled with this bad rap?

What about the jab mandate? Could it be another round of litigation? People took enough from the HR and their mid level "managers". Remember the most ethical place to work reward!

No surprise on the TTS announcement. If you haven’t left already, just another reason to move on.

There is a life outside of this organization even though you are being brain washed otherwise.

not sure, but I know someone in the finance area of TTS and seems like a big focus will be on contract workers like Accenture folks and consultants.
