Who will most likely be our new CEO if Vicki retires in 2023?

I doubt VH is going anywhere for the next 3-5 years. I hope she stays myself as she brings a personal touch, and the APC deal has worked out after being slammed with Covid and all.

They can always bring former executives out of retirement for the role. I am sure there are a few who are well qualified and would love the job.
RJ’s they next CEO and they are grooming him for it. He’s a big improvement over most of the current top leadership

Richard Jackson is a smart guy but he is a beta. I don't think thats the right decision. You need a leader that people will respect and want to work for. Still think you need to pay up for Richard to keep him happy.
Next CEO will be Rob Peterson. Unless Buffett wants someone he knows that is not currently with Oxy. This is unlikely based on Buffett's history. My money is on Rob.
Perhaps it will someone from APC or even an outsider.
