Sams club had sheriffs at the door to prevent the clubs asso from working. the same present culture disconnected wmt corp not back from lunch yet culture is in charge of wmt now. Expect a brillant repeat performance with wmt stores. wmt hit its apex along time ago and no amount of spin can bandage that.

Listen closely this time I’ll go slow(er).

The stores don’t have layoffs.

Most stores are understaffed. That means there’s hiring underway, especially now that the college kids have gone back.

I’m sure we’ll see resource actions for salary positions at home office in 2023, but not in the stores.

Start a thread for hours being reduced if that’s whats got your hiney in a rash.

Walmart minister of truth for disconnected depraved incompetent present wmt corp culture. I thought stores are overstaffed due to the surge of hirering from the pendemic. Asking for a huge win friend.

What no plans for layoffs mean is reduced hours. Like 16 to 32 hours per week. Thats how disconnected incompetent present wmt corp culture gets around severence. Keep in mine to try to collect unemploymet if your state allows it. Also keep in mine that disconnected incompetent present wmt corp cultue closed Sams clubs with out warning.

Why is it on every retailer on this site people post ' they only care about money'? Or they are only concerned with 'shareholders'?
Business is about profit and retail is no different. Take one just one business course. People are not going to get paid 50K or more a year for doing stock or ringing up customers.

If you don't like Walmart I have bad news for you. It's the same at other retailers as well. Sure perhaps Home Depot 'treats' their associates 'better'. But that is a matter of definition by an individual. But what if you didn't open the required number of new HD cards per a number of transactions? What if top stock is full and you have several pallets to place? What happens when people call off and leave you alone in 3 areas?

The stores very rarely have layoffs. The home office has lots of them because people hang out on a team for 15 years, refuse to upskill, deflect responsibility, and then think Walmarts out to get them when they get the axe. Sometimes it’s really an unnecessary team but they typically know when their team is not essential.

Ok, I’ll just say it now. Some people are just id--ts. For some reason, this person wants to try to stir it up. Maybe they have no life and want to be seen as an expert, or their self esteem is so low they see this forum as a way to make themselves seem important or knowledgeable.

There are no layoffs planned for stores in February, or for that matter, anytime in the future. Stores are understaffed, so hiring is going on and is expected to continue. If you’re at a store, you know it’s understaffed.

I don’t believe that. Walmart managers and coaches lie to your face and swear to it.
I trust no one @walmart. You’re neive. Walmart only cares about money. Associates aren’t valued.associates aren’t appreciated either.
