Seems to be a lot of this going on in Plano and Chicago

Promotions and significant raises have absolutely nothing to do with performance at Pepsico, it's all about being part of the clique, being the right gender and race to fulfill the woke quotas.
@flzc+1ipYwQrS. I cannot hit that up vote button enough to your comment. So true. 1,000,000 % true.
This is nothing new...I worked at Pepsi with people who were doing bare minimum for years and kept their jobs while getting promotions and rave reviews. It is no secret how many folks actually say "not my job" or "I don't know how to do it". If you are excellent at your job you get stuck. I am amazed no one has caught on in decades. Quite sad when you have very loyal dedicated employees walking away because they put everything into their jobs and get a 1% merit. Fear based recognition is all they give. I wish I could have slided as mush as others, I would still be working there yet I woke up and realized a paycheck is not worth the mental stress and loss of personal time. It will never change until they get rid of the oligarchy system that has ruined the company. It was bad under Indra although this only got worse and more visible.
The new generation just puts it on social media for all to see.
quietly reclaiming boundaries.. how many times have you been called on vacation? in the evening? and any other time not a part of your gig. the term doesn't mean not doing the job, it means done doing 125% for 2.5% merits. but at least we are having a big "reindocrinate", I mean, a push to re-ignite the Pepsi way, party soon!
I was quiet fired after 2 years in Plano, but I didn't care. I lasted another 20 years by quiet quitting and eventually got laid off with a year's severance and now I am retired getting my fat pension every month. Pepsico was a great place to work.
Aaand? If pepsi expects more than the bare minimum, then compensate more. Simple as that.
@1ase+1ipYwQrS my understanding is quiet quitting means people are doing the bare minimum and looking for a new job
