DEI Overload

Is Sangeetha able to make a statement without sharing her s-xist and racist views?

It would be nice if this company focused less on DEI and could actually setup a Zoom meeting that everyone in the department could attend. More misguided priorities.

So let me get this straight... our senior leaders (the real 1%) have the nerve to preach to us about privilege? Even worse, they take an extremely small subset of infinite privileges present across society and decide to focus on what? Race? Religion? Family wealth? How did this Leninist cr-p make front page of a company newsletter?

I certainly don't see them stepping aside and relinquishing their position of power for someone with less privilege. In my 20 years at NM I've seen some truly incompetent leaders, but the current wave really tops them all. They can barely manage a budget, yet we have to be subjected to their two-bit philosophies and moral teachings? Give me a break!

Caption from her gross and offensive newsletter:

"We are all, I hope, born with some privilege. In the United States, being white, being male, being straight, being Christian, being financially well off, and being able-bodied are all privileges. But we forget these privileges – they are so embedded in our everyday lives, in our identities, that we don’t even see them."

She has her targets set on straight, white, spiritual, and non-handicapped males. This is a blatant violation of the protected classes found in Title VII of the Civil Rights act of 1964.

What exactly is she saying that would be s-xist or r-cist? Genuinely curious.

The message from this morning taken right from the head of infrastructure is to turn down new work and do less work in general. What a great leader and leadership advice. This illustrates how out-of-touch with NM and out-of-touch with reality these people are. Time to go play with my alpaca now.

I am glad ERGs and WIT are the answer to our burn-out problem. It is too bad our head of infrastructure is so burnt out from all the P1s that HIS team is causing, maybe he should attend a WIT luncheon to empower himself and find his voice. Our leaders are so out of touch with reality and it is SO painful to watch.

If it isn't about WIT, she doesn't give a $hit.

Wonder if she would be better moving into HR in the D&I space vs the current role. WIT for the WIN
