I completely understand those who decide to quite quit. However, you should always look at the other side, how good or bad is it for your career in the long term?
I mean, if a person cares about his or her career at all, then it is better to leave here professionally and with dignity, than to waste time here.

LOL. This post is clearly from someone in HR. The incorrect spelling is laughable!
Halliburton uses and abuses their employees. Don't give them anymore effort than the bare minimum. Raises and promotions have zero to do with your effort and performance at this company. It's all about whose a-s you kiss and if TJ or Harber like you.
It won't make a gd difference for most "careers". This is a boomer fantasy that we're just no longer part of the market dynamics are completely different now. If you have a pulse and some experience you will get a job somewhere else. For now, this is just a gravy train like any other job will be.
Not if you are close to retirement or have been treated well as one of the good ole boys in the "IN" management click. You will ride this cheddar till the end with a nice severance package.
