If your manager tells you you're safe, you need to know that's not true. They want to keep us working and breaking our backs until the last possible moment before they notify us that we're being let go. In reality, nobody is safe at this point. Anybody who tells you otherwise is lying.

The first ones to go will not be the executives who created this mess. The first ones to go will be the people who support products that are not cloud-compatible and the people who support markets that are not profitable.
the first ones to go should be many of the executives that should be taking responsibility for the problems they mostly created. But of course its always the peons that pay the price.
