In fact everybody in my company got a 5% raise. It was to compensate for the inflation.
2 years ago I got laid off from Xerox. A couple of months later I got a new job doing virtually the same back office job as I did in Xerox. The first year I made 35% more money than I did in Xerox and this year I got the additional 5% raise.
I was forced to leave Xerox. You are not...... But if I was you I would at least be looking for a new job. And maybe look for a company that is in a different industry
I know this is “Hate mother X central” but I actually did get 5% this year too. Lots of salary adjustment this year because so many people were leaving.
Healthy increase with a role change this year. I enjoy my job and colleagues, have marketable skills, and am making more than I probably could elsewhere. Riding this baby to the bottom, peeps. It's gonna be wild.
Probably pink slip coming tomorrow.
