GSSO hiring a global VP of Sales from PAN has shown how foolish they are. This person was a disaster for us with no executive cybersecurity experience. As you can see by earnings announcement we are still on a rocket ship. We are almost double your business. She only got the job cause her boss had her before in SP during prior role. You all will never learn on what it takes to actually lead cybersecurity sales. You would think that you would have learned not to hire based on relationships by now. There is a reason why you all are falling further behind in the hottest technology and it is cause you all think you can put people in executive leadership positions that have no idea. Look at each of the previous VP of Sales and Engineering. Look at the current GSSO Americas disastrous VP and SED. Since they have fooled you with Gold Rush, now they are priming you all for the biggest layoff in GSSO history especially on the engineering side with moving you all to C2E then transitioning to Agile TSA and paying below the market. That is all your SED wants to do and only reason he was hired. Those TSAs left will not make money in the new direction of C2E and the ultimate transition to Agile TSA. Decisions like this are why you all are falling further behind and why many have left.

PAN is diversifying further into the musical instrument market.

I just realized what you call engineering is just technical sales! That’s not engineering, it’s just people selling what’s made by actual engineers.
Jesus dude you finally left for pan and you are still obsessed with GSSO? You need therapy.
Competition is hiring and GSSO is NOT backfilling. Too much excellent talent has left on the GSSO Engineering side. The SED is a hack for EK and everyone knows he wants to move everyone to C2E as the first phase then phase 2 is Agile TSA. The excellent people are leaving cause they know this means less pay and less career options.
JP was excited to have her join but not sure what he has done with Security. Cisco went from a strong PAN competitor to now a no name and no longer in the race in the Security space.
Tell it like it is!
