It is so depressing working on campus that I’ve decided I’m going to maximize my work from home. The campus is so empty it’s a constant reminder of all the good people we once had who we have now fired and of our continuous offshoring of any remaining jobs. The campus was once a hive of activity. Now it is just a reminder of how far we have fallen. The company is dying.

Working on campus is beyond miserable.
EMHC really svcks. People have even stopped faking it. Just WFH or go on an extended business trip somewhere. Preserve your sanity and dignity.
With all the empty desks why in the world is hot dealing being proposed? Will the insanity ever end?
Don't worry. Management already has a plan to fix this problem. They're going to shove everyone into 1X spaces in just the E and W quads and enforce hotdesking. This will come with firmer guidance to work on campus. Problem solved!
All the smart people have already left.
