Anyone else notice a large increase in level 7 senior management with zero management experience. Was it not the point to have level 6 management first?

Yes.
10k-15k was the 3 year vestments for L7 on end of year review.
One month after L1-L5 got their 5% bump Level 6s were offered 7k over two years vested. Level 6s got shafted again.
One good news, HR chief has finally been fired. Expect better things. Cannot believe she lasted since 2009, how many good people and lives she destroyed. Her firing was long overdue. Ignore the "retirement" email, she was finally fired with a golden parachute.

There was an avalanche of promotions to L7 and L9 just before the IPO. Well connected managers "pulled up" their guys
