Pepsi’s Layoff season has gotten off to a much earlier start this year. It attempts to be fair, offering 1-2 weeks per year of service. However, select lucky few have been afforded a full year. How have those that have gotten a year severance achieved that? What’s the secret?

Perhaps it's based on a tier system in milestone increments;. 10 yrs or less = 1 week per year. 10 yrs or more = 2 weeks per year. Management with a lot of tenure most likely receive a full year package regardless of years of service. Or it's based on your connections or performance (then you sign a non- disclosure agreement).
It’s based on years of service. 2 weeks for every year. One year max
