How long do they plan on keeping us guessing? This is taking much longer than I expected and it's stressing me out. I can't afford to lose my job right now and having that prospect hanging over my head all the time is affecting my mental health. Why can't they clarify and let us know what's going to happen and when?

Let’s say they clarify according to your definition and say cuts will happen on Sept 30. How does that help you? If you can’t afford to lose your job right now, you should be applying for new jobs now whether the cuts are this afternoon or next year. You can always back out of the application/interviewing process if you learn you still have a job at Ford.
It would be kind of funny if massive amounts of people went on medical leave at the same time. Then what would they do?
