Refining EVP Retirement

Any rumors on who Mike Hennigan selected to replace Refining EVP Ray Brooks after he retires at the end of August? Inside or outside MPC?

Just announced, looks like Ray was such a big deal they made three jobs out of his one opening.

Who cares? Like they care about anything other that themselves. As long as whoever it is stays his a-s in Findlay and doesn’t come out to the field and blow smoke up our as--s I can give two sh--s.

Wait.. There’s a long term MPC person with little relevant experience? Sounds like the perfect candidate!

The big door prize will go to Mr. Aydt

Hopefully NOT Aydt or from outside. Aydt a just a midstream man just like Hennigan. MPC is a refining company, and we need a MPC experienced refining leader like Bogard.

Anyone good external will know better than to take that job. Which means we 1) end up with someone less qualified, 2) someone just doing it has a hobby (ie hiring someone out of retirement 3) we pick from the fine selection of Findlay country club boys

Mike got burned hiring Brian Davis from the outside. My money is on Mike’s favorite son Tim Aydt.

My guess is Bogard but it is a guess. I think Rich is retiring as well. I don't think there are any good internal options but also wouldn't want to see who Hennigan would hire externally.
