I have noticed that not just in US but even in Serbia there is a mass exodus of good employees. Does not surprise me at all as due to hiring freeze one person is doing 3 peoples job since last few months. Employees can’t take it any more… NCR has become a feeder company for other big tech firms who treat and pay their employees well. I am also on my way out..

Rude as F. CE’s are good people. Hardware will always break, SaS is not the end all, be all.

Customer engineers are d-mb hicks anyways. Nobody needs them once transformation to SaaS is complete.

One of my team members is leaving in 2 weeks. Leaving us with 2 network CEs along with support for a certain Retail account. Hard to believe they won’t bring more CE back in to assist with the network calls. Big swath of area to cover and have to cross train an existing CE to help out which will be time consuming. Great times indeed.
Most good employees see the writing on the wall, so they make their way to the nearest lifeboat before the rush and panic. There are a few that will go down with the ship, the old timers who remember the glory days and fear having to start over.
What was once a great company, has turned into a place where they will hire anyone that has a pulse and can pass a background test, of course pay them more then employees that have been with company for years, and then make them train them.
Correction; the last comment is what everyone knows. They are just waiting for an offer- no one has bitten in the several years they have dangled the company for sale -they continue to cook the books until some su---r buys them and leadership can ride off in the sunset w their big paychecks, leaving tens of thousands unemployed during a terrible time in all markets and economies around the world.
