Everyone notice the contract starts July 2020 instead of January 2020? Slick move PEB 250 fu---d us out of about 8k in backpay since the biggest raise was 2022. 15% cap has always been there they are lifting the cap meaning we will be paying out the as----e for healthcare. Basically we get 1000 bonus for December 2020 and 2021 minus taxes so 1400$ bonus. Back wages minus taxes 3-4000$ 1 extra day off and our insurance is going sky high, as high as the rail carriers want. F THAT!!!!!!!

The 20% wage increase only makes up for what inflation has increased to CURRENTLY. And as it has shown no signs of abating, rising inflation through the official end of the contract will be borne by labor AGAIN, with unknown healthcare increases on top of it. And when the contract officially ends, there will be more years of falling behind before the next contract.

I for one am not happy. I hope we strike, if it is ordered back to work I will be sick literally to my stomach and mentally. I for one will be off sick after ordered back to work. The unions have failed us, action is needed above and beyond bureaucracy. I hope this is monitored by the companies, they need to know what will face them. I call for a work slowdown over the next 30 days and a strike to follow. After being undoubtedly ordered back to work after finally being allowed to legally strike I am calling for a nationwide sick out. Apparently following rules is not getting us anywhere except closer to a wage that is not conducive to the work and life style of the job. A real kick to the groin.

Congress will force it on us and 15-20% will walk off the job as soon as they get their back pay.

It's %22 and one additional day of paid time off from the 15 we were asking for( not sure about that one)? It's at least somewhat fair from anything the Republicans would have given us. Which probably would have been %15.

Did I misread the PEB’s recommendations? About 20% pay increase. a thousand dollars per year of back pay (they called it something else, but it totaled $5K) and a 15% cap on our contributions to health insurance. It was over a hundred pages long and I need to reread some parts of it.
