I’m gonna circle back to the smoke and mirrors post a few weeks ago, hiring new help but cutting hours of current help creates the illusion that belk is doing well, so does buying merchandise from defunct retailers that was closeout and marking it up 400% and then selling it at 50% off, it’s so crystal clear what’s going on with belk, it’s unfortunate that belk is taking advantage of the limited education/lower income/elderly customers in this way, but that’s exactly what they are doing. If cheating and stealing from customers are easy for Belk then just do it. It is nothing personal it is business for Belk don’t you know?
Like I said before if Belk loyal uneducated, low income, no class, bargain cheap customers are not so stupid and keep buying at Belk stores then Belk still make money and cut back your hours!
