New CEO is Good/Typical Avaya Pay-2-Play Marketing is Not. Don't Insult nee Leader with Old Avaya Marketing

Avaya's marketing team is filled with self-serving box checkers who regularly place stories that comically make statements like "Avaya is a marketing company"...ha ha ha ha. They have a bank of money they blow on falsehoods and redirection tactics rather than on building REAL value. The new CEO is solid. One of the best I've ever seen come into a situation such as this. It's obvious that Avayas existing marketing and product leadership are world's apart from new CEO style. They have zero idea how to engage the audiance with integrity, transparency or via earned recognition. They 100% lack humility and acceptance. They show zero ability to "read the room". Instead, today we got another Pay2Play CRN Article drop. And I find it very telling that the CEOs' quotes don't match the color commentary that the author sprinkled in. The color commentary was what the "no way a proper
" pay 2 play author had received from Avaya marketing to frame the story. That commentary is all Ex CEO style. Well, we all know the Wizard behind the curtain has been exposed (ex CEO) yet they are still using the same curtain (marketing and desperate product management).
They don't loose any customer momentum bby blowing up marketing. Honestly, no one would blink. I can't wait for the day that I don't have to read another desperate and bizarrely self-serving Pay 2 Pay fake journalism article on Avaya.

PR Newswire Reference is an APPROPRIATE band ACCURATE Snap-Shot of Reality. Investors were MISLEAD! False accounting. Inflated Projections. Doesn't matter how many firms are fighting to be THE CLASS ACTION FIRM. What matters is there WILL BE CLASS ACTION.

The PR Newswire is just a law firm on a fishing expedition and ambulance chasing for potential clients for free advertising. There’s others doing the same thing over the past couple of weeks.

More interesting is the article that posted an hour later... over 2 billion lost in stock...

I read the article and it was so uplifting that I wanted to go beg my boss to keep my job....not...getting my severance before its gone forever. So they plan on generating revenue by selling more cloud seats, hello not everyone want phones going through the cloud, also pushing partners more, thats why we lost a ton of work. The partners don't care about selling avaya, all they care about is the referral that avaya pushed to them and then they will sell the customer what gives them the most profit. Maybe our cheerleader turned Vonage around but I don't think he will be able to save avaya. Looks like someone was cooking the books...

So true. Yet marketing is who will take this post down. They believe controlling the narrative is helping Avaya. It is not. Bee CEO honesty will help. Marketing doesn't fit into an honest, integrity anchored organization. While I agree wholeheartedly on this post, I know all too well marketing will scam their way to justify getting it taken down. They believe their cheerleader empty posts and team members are what will help Avaya. All they do is make us a laughing stock. We are a joke. In tech, evangelists are supposed to be ex CIOs who mastered using the companies solution. Not at Avaya. They just hire people that somehow fit more the definition of a consumer brand social media influencer profile. Just a total fail.
