Market Compression Raises for Engineers?

Does anyone have any details about the market compression raises that I hear are coming for engineers? I heard it was “for Engineers grade 10 to 13”. The one thing I have learned about Marathon is that they know how to sc--w up ideas like this and what starts out with the intentions of making people more happy ends up pi----g more people off.

If they came out a few weeks ago, any idea who got it and who didn’t? I know I didn’t.

They came out a few weeks ago, but not across the board.

9/1 is tomorrow and I haven’t heard anything yet. I guess this rumor was just wishful thinking.

at GBR, we got a compression raise earlier in the year, i think in 1Q. back then, i was a grade 10 with 2.5yoe, making $103.3k. they bumped me $400/yr to $103.7k LOL. other newer grade 10s got maybe a $1200/yr bump.

hopefully this one is better if it actually happens.

Most of the MPC engineers in Findlay are too d-mb to know how lucky they are to be employed at MPC - most could not find a better paying position elsewhere and they know it. The d-mbest of the d-mb become managers.

"Market Compression"???

Is that the new definition for engineers quitting in high numbers?

It's been a rumor for 4+ months. I would assume and operate like its never coming. If you have a good offer leave.
