Our store began drastically cutting hours on Wednesday. Associates are being called and asking them to take off. I know a full time associate who was asked to take off Thursday-Saturday. We have had hours cut in the past, but never this urgently or desparately. Is this happening at other stores? If so, what's up?

If a retail store or any other business for that matter is struggling to pay employees $15 per hour, that is a big bright oversized red flag to get ANOTHER JOB. Something is wrong if a company can’t pay employees a living wage.

Merchandise they’ve sent ?! Our store got 800 units of the same nautica navy, blue, and white uniform shirt.
They should cut the wrong people on the top like store managers, asm managers and Don Hendricks salary! Would it be more cheaper to close all dirty and filthy Belk stores now and liquidate everything? After all the top executive still making big bonus and drive expensive cars!

My store is doing the same thing. They asked me to just work Monday and Saturday next week. Im worried and confused as to why. I can’t live of 16 hour paycheck.
