@1axp+1iaRe8bp. LMFAO. a useless empty suit. IBM is about protecting the cronyism of a certain set of execs. glad i left that shithole. doing same amount of work, and with a real bonus and RSU's that are worth something my TC has tripled.

Executive shill, please.

"It’s unbelievable to me how many people don’t seem to know the difference between RAs ... Vs[sic] PIPs"

We all know the the difference in definition. It's how IBM is using PIPs that's the problem. They are being used as cheap and quick RAs.

Yes, IBM is not performing. Yes, executives and managers always blame the lowest ranked people they can find -- en masse. Until we start seeing PIPs apply to execs, all the way up to CEO, then you can move along. Anyone familiar with IBM can pick out SVPs and arguably at least one CEO who needed PIPs desperately instead of millions of dollars of windfall.

Lack of vision, lack of investment in products and services, innovation that is limited solely to cost cutting maneuvers, and executives who have nothing to offer but self-promoting selfies on linkedin with narcissism, posing, and politics their only "knowledge, skills, and abilities" are the real problem.

It’s unbelievable to me how many people don’t seem to know the difference between RAs where the company can legally take mass actions to exit people out wholly unrelated to performance (ie you can unluckily get swept up in these if business is bad). Vs PIPs which are based on individual performance (ie can you really complain if you’re not actually performing?!) Plus tons of people use them as a wake up call and get off them. And you think our competitors don’t use these measures on the regular?! IBMs been an easy ride to hide for too long for too many.

Can’t wait for the thumbs down folks to see this one.

The free cash flow is going down below 10B... only layoffs can save it.
Just expect PIPs and layoffs in mass to rectify the FCF.
