I like to think of our company, of Cisco, collectively as a single person. As a warrior, as a man, willing to thrust his sword of innovation into attractive new markets as he desires. And thrust we must. We must thrust deeply until we have hit bottom, and know this canal of revenue can be sailed no further.
Like the marines did on Iwo Jima, we will er--t the flag of victory. The pole of our flag will be long and hard as steel. Our competition will attempt to make our flag flaccid and unmoving. But we will not be hindered. We will stand hard and penetrate new markets. We will spread the seed of Cisco innovation to those domestic, foreign and exotic.
Sometimes you see a new opportunity, but you may not feel you have the right protection needed to enter it securely.
But let me assure you, we will aggressively take advantage of those opportunities before they dry up.
I encourage our Cisco family to get to know each other more intimately. To accomplish this end I am announcing our new Cisco On Cisco Kin-ection (CO-K) program. Reflecting on Cisco as a family I would like all of our hands to touch the CO-K program and be sensitive to not just what we can learn, but what others can feel by our actions.
My Cisco brothers and sisters, as we proceed with the in--------e of our global business relations I assure you we will prevail regardless of whether we are currently on top or coming from behind!
