If you give your two weeks notice and the company tells you to leave earlier, do you still get paid for the 2 full weeks?

I gave my 2 weeks notice and wrapped up handover in 1 week (at my supervisor’s request). I was still paid for the full 2 weeks!

Your last day of pay is whatever is recorded in the HR system, usually they won’t change the date you give them but if they told you that you don’t need to come back, confirm what they recorded
I’d think so. Otherwise people wouldn’t give 2 weeks notice. The company would be in bad spot of this wasn’t the standard.
