I guess that’s the long term idea. We have seen A3M, cutting down corporate services and moving resources into the BGs, introducing GSCs, working hard towards process standardisation and globalization, etc. With the recent HCBG spin-off announcement, it eventually all makes sense and I’m expecting further spin-offs until there is no 3M anymore but 3-4 individual companies.
If 3M spin out to individual BG, it will be run by each group president.
Then we won't need the CEO anymore
