I received an offer to join Oxy. I would appreciate it if someone could educate me on the salary grade levels and perhaps pay ranges if it is published internally. Thanks for your help.

Check job postings for Colorado jobs. Oxy has to post the salary range.
Look on Glass Door. That's the only place I've seen a few salaries with job titles.
Congratulations on your offer. You will be joining a great company with a lot of individual freedom to either prove yourself or crash and burn. Welcome to the Oxy world!
The direct answer to your question is that there's nothing published internally that is widely available outside HR. Managers can see the grade level and salary bands of their reports but not their own level or above. What grade level is the job you are considering?
Money should not be your primary driver. The company , assets and staff should concern you. You WILL be offered a competitive package.... It's how you perform in the new environment that counts. Money doesn't matter if there are lousy assets or difficult staff. If I had an offer, I would put more weight on these issues. I left once for a huge bump in pay and was surrounded by inferior projects and staff. No money will get you out of that ho-e. Good Luck.
The highest that you’d probably start at would be 23
21 is around the bottom.
Thanks for the responses. I really do appreciate them. It is not my negotiating style to ask the recruiter or hiring manager where I rank on the salary band. This is honeymoon season. I prefer to do my homework. To start with, while I know my salary grade level I don't know where grade levels start at entry level and end with VH. If anyone has an answer I would really appreciate it.
You should ask the recruiter where you stand in the structure.
I see no reason why you should not ask them regarding this... The two times I moved, I started in the middle of the salary band. If you are being promoted you may start at the bottom of the salary band. Worth following up. I found it is not simple as you add bonuses and stock grants into the mix.
Thanks for your responses, but I did not get an answer to a very specific question. I just want to know where I stand in the hierarchy before I negotiate or accept. More specifically, I don't know where it starts and ends and the pay ranges for each grade. I currently have a great job at the moment and don't want to jump ship without exhaustive due diligence. I wish I knew someone who works at Oxy. I am happy to share a 2-year-old pay structure at Chevron found here (https://www.thelayoff.com/t/16AF4gKa) and I collected a couple of others at other companies while job hunting in case anyone else is interested. Please help.
What you have to understand is what you are being currently remunerated (base pay, bonus, stock and benefits) and whether the new position and it's pay structure makes you happy. I guess you can ask where the offer is wrt to the position's pay band. Oxy like other energy companies does benefit peer comparisons.... they will be at least competitive to their peers.
If you received an offer for a job you want at a reasonable pay, don’t worry about salary grade levels and pay ranges. The economy is turning south and you will be glad you have a job soon.
