I work in EMEA PS in the field, before the BC take over announcement things were toxic and most of my team were looking outside of vmware. When the BC news broke most people stopped looking in the hope they'll get laid off by Christmas 2022 with a fat cheque in their pocket. The latest unofficial update on an all hands this week was the takeover is not going to happen before next autumn, this has triggered a lot of people to start looking for jobs again.
If you're holding out for a payoff how long are you going to stay? I'm 54 and have 12 years service and can't decide if it's worth another year of sh-t.
