Does severance pay stop when you find another job?

Dont plan on a severance from BBB--Even if it is promised!!!
Severance has nothing to do with you finding a new job.
Why would you tell them you have a new job? Why?
When I finally got 86’d from Sears they told me that severance would stop when you found a new job, so please verify just in case. Solution to that: don’t tell anyone you found a new job until post severance! Worked for me!
No, it doesn't stop. Unemployment does stop----you need to notify them when starting a new job.
I don’t think so. I mean how would they know if you got another job.
