How much longer before they officially file Chapter 11? Everyone knows it's coming.

Bed Bath and Beyond is one of my favorite shopping locations. It is one of the few retail locations that rather than sit in the car and read a book while my wife shops I actually go in the store. That being said I must also add that Bed Bath and Beyond is a "nice to have" destination...not a "got to have". We are experiencing one of the worst economic downturns in our country's history. Retailers like Bed Bath and Beyond do not sell "priority" products...rent, mortgage, utilities, food etc take precedence....the aforementioned are required to get by. On the current path things will only get worse. The Holidays are just around the corner. Families that had nothing to do with this mess will suffer the most. I am hoping that our current situation is not the new "norm".

It won't be Chapter 11, it will be Chapter 7 that gets filed. Time to flush this tu-d down the toilet!
At the end of the day the company still has money and assets to sell off. Give it few more earning reports before that’s even an option. All roads, streets, sidewalks and back alleys lead to bankruptcy at its current path. Investors already know that YOY sales will be down 20-25% anymore its a sign that there is no hope.
The OP's question is valid as to when BBB will file. My guess is after the Holiday season which would also be the Q3 earnings time frame.
Worthy enough for you to respond to it lol.
and this is somehow worthy of being a post on here. kind of repetitive information.
