I have an extra amount in my payout for September 29. Did anybody experience this? I'm wondering what this amount is for.

I got this too, but no explanation from HR. It just said "net pay replacement". Weird.

I also got an extra $1000 in my gross pay this (9/30) paycheck. Have not seen any email from HR about it. It isn't itemized in my paycheck.

Are you serious? How would anyone on here know the answer to that? Just look at the line items on your paystub and compare to the last one. Seriously, man... How do you function as an adult?
You probably hit the limit for Social Security Tax for the year. That could explain the small increase in pay you will see for the reat of the year.
