Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

5-days a week would make me quit

I can't be the only one, right? This makes me think that this is the point of RTO cr-p. Instead of laying people off and paying them severance in the process, make them leave on their own by taking away one positive thing that's left. The more of us quit, the bigger the bonuses of those in charge will be. I hate it, but I think this is what's happening.

You have to ask yourself, how will the economy be WHEN you get laid off next? Also, if you stay, you run the risk of getting ZERO severance due to the financial collapse of Avaya. The best Avaya can hope for is to be purchased by someone else. However, at this point their tech is so OLD and antiquated, the only thing anyone would want is the customer base. Give it time and they will lose that leverage too!!!
