Earlier this year a lady was crushed between two trailers on a frac site. Last week a hand was backed over by a loader at the frac site. This week a man was ki---d by the counter weights of a pumping unit.
If I heard them right they said the worker was hit by the counterweights on a pumpjack. Probably someone doing work that didn’t know all of the safety hazards. This is a dangerous industry for anyone that is out in the field.
The statistics are hidden by the company and the media at Permian. It is bad for the business.
I actually appreciate when information is posted here. I feel it forces the company’s hand in actually being transparent and communicating in a timely manner.
If someone does have info, please do share.
A fatality involves the actual loss of life as a result of some acute effect on the vital functions, usually from external means.
It happens all the time.
I caused the fatality of a moth, only minutes ago, that landed on my screen.
I regret that. But that's what it is.
Glad to explain. Keep coming with the questions!
