They have a sales team because someone high up believes in the dream. Too bad those that are high up are asleep at the wheel…dreaming.

Why does tanzu have a sales team if they can't even sell the product?
Not the future of vmware… in case you haven’t noticed, Tanzu k8s folks can’t deliver anything other than false promises and power point slides. The few good apples will be tossed away with the many rotten ones, in particular many of the “pivots” from pivotal who should have been fired ages ago, but the company is too woke to fire anyone for demonstrated incompetence. Try to get fired in that team, it’s HARD!

Tanzu is the diet coke of Kubernetes. It is a money pit and will likely disappear like the founders of Heptio.
90% of the products that have the names “Tanzu” don’t have any relationship to each other. It is going to take some Hock elbow grease to unwind this one.
I expect TKG to go away but all of Tanzu doubtful. It has to many pieces that I think they would want to keep.
