Well that’s a waste of money, there’s nothing left on the shelves worth taking. They’d have to pay me to take it!

i heard a few months ago they were updating the cameras; the dvd quality on the current ones is so bad the police can’t even use them half the time
still doesn’t seem like the smartest way to be spending the little money they have, unsurprisingly
Again, signs of Sears. They beefed up loss prevention while in decline too. Nothing really came of it because they treated the AP associates terribly, didn't give them enough hours or support for them to extend themselves.
The actual thieves could not care less, employees & other.
Store management were the worst offenders but they weren't going to be getting caught.
When things are falling apart …even employees who are not theft inclined join the party…and the real thieves go hard…plus you will have employees who punch in and then disappear only to miraculously materialize before the punch clock at quit time…”you forgot yer lunch punch again! It's simple. The SM can look at everything without leaving the office. Or as was the case in our office once, he can view po-n online and still monitor the store.
They can't believe the low sales numbers and want to make sure we are opening the stores.

They know how cr---y they are treating you and want see if employees are stealing.
They are there to make sure the employees are working. they can be remote viewed I believe. luckily all the tech is trash and probably won’t work.
Gives someone an excuse to employ their cousin as an LP person 25 miles away. As if anything is worth stealing.
