Thread regarding Ford layoffs

How many quarters of a Billion Dollar losses can Ford sustain?

Is this the road to a bankruptcy? Frankly I am not a finance girl but it looks like thinjgs are so massively wrong.

Farley has only 1 short term lever he can pull. Cut more heads! Wall Street is already hammering him (especially if GM and Stellantis don’t do as bad). Everything else, quality, warranty, new models, etc. take time.Time he doesn’t have. You can only ride that “rebuilding season” bus for so long before you’re looking for a new job.

@sgl+1iPye9rU, the F150s they can't build because they can't get parts? Stop being a sap.

Leadership DOES NOT CARE they have a completely different pay structure and do not suffer as they would be made whole in such a situation. That is the root cause of the problem. If they were compensated like regular employees, they would be taking a completely different approach. It is very much like a Marie Antoinette situation... let them eat cake.
