I sympathize and feel for everyone who was cut. I wish you all luck in finding a new job as soon as possible. I lost my job once and I know how stressful it is.
Now I hope that I will be able to find a new job before they tell me that I am not needed here, but... as ugly as it sounds, layoffs may be a good thing for some, because otherwise they would never look for better offers and would stay here for a long time while being totally undervalued.

I probably should have stayed but decided to roll the dice and take the money and run. It's worked out great for me. Wish you all well. Things always have a way of working out....
