You have exactly zero reasons to stay at NCR unless you want to. There are still plenty of available jobs that pay really well. I got a 20 percent raise a month ago when I switched jobs and I know I'm not the only one. Take advantage of this! Especially since it probably won't be true for much longer.

T.R.I.G.G.E.R WARNING: BOOMERS MIGHT BE HURT.
If it weren't for the 'tictoc' generation you'd still be selling hardware and as----ting interns.
And in 5 years it will have a dainty new name when the Tictoc generation takes over and kicks out anyone who is over 23 today. All this is a moot point if the ROI can't even keep up with inflation, let alone make a profit.
Can you believe that old ge---r insists on working for a company that makes a profit for its stockholders??
It's not "retail" or "hospitality" or "digital banking" anymore boomer.
It's commerce platform, a set of cloud services that business in retail, digital banking or hospitality would use.
If you can't grasp such concepts please move on.
"Serious question: I assume that the ATM part of the of the company will be based in Scotland. Where will the retail company be headquartered? Cebu or India?"
Assume Nothing ! Assumptions would mean the powers to be used common sense. Common sense has no seat in the NCR board room.
"Well finally the board of directors post something. Grammar errors and broken sentence must not be a requirement".
That's not the Board Of Directors that posted that. It's one of those talented young recruits from Georgia Tech, Serbia or India NCR is banking their future on ! SELL NOW

No Thanks. Wife and I talked about this numerous times and this split has made the decision for us. I already do the job of 2 or 3 people. I can only imagine what a $hit show ncr will become prior and after the split occurs. My resume has been out there and I've interviewed several times but not really taken it seriously, turned down offers. Leaving makes sense now. I've become mentally exhausted working for ncr. I have no work life balance, my wife and kids refer to me as the grumpy man that lives here. Time to go, it's not healthy, hasn't been but I really didn't realize it. I'm out.
