I keep hearing that the remaining 94 stores will be announced in January or February. Where is this information coming from? I haven't seen any official announcement or anything similar. I hope it's not true. I can't imagine having to wait until then to know if I'll still have a job in the next year.

They will let you know right before Christmas, like they did at my store. Then you will close you doors end of February. If you have a relationship with your landlord, ask them. If you are closing they will stop paying the rent. They did at my location. Its not worth the stress. I stayed until the end for my severance.
I would start scouting landing sites now so this is not such a shock later.

They want to push marble rolling pins and cake domes for Christmas.
It’s true. February will have more layoffs in corporate and field positions and more store closures.
They are hoping that they get merchandise in now for Q4 and the numbers go up. It might just be too late for that .
