Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

For MS and T-Mobile leadership

the layoff and other bad stuff you guys' been doing is well planned, this will make T-Mobile better, if will make you pocket looking good, but this will make the entire community/society worse and worse, please mark my word here. you wont see if change in one day, but you guys will be shocked in one day. remember, do not go to public place and stay your home and office.

'So, let me be really clear on this increasingly important topic. This merger is all about creating new, high-quality, high-paying jobs, and the New T-Mobile will be jobs-positive from Day One and every day thereafter. That’s not just a promise. That’s not just a commitment. It’s a fact."

Ir sucks to get Kaye’s off. Runaway inflation and recession have consequences - if you voted for this administration you own your own layoff. If the corporation keeps everyone and fails then it can employ no one. If it cuts headcount in a recession with high inflation and stays healthy it can add employees back later when the economy comes back. Much later - think many years. The corp legally must do what’s right for shareholders. I’d get going on the job hunt immediately before too many other companies follow suit. Not many were around to remember the Carter stagflation economy and all the “right sizing” the corps had to do. Unemployment went up as did inflation while the economy stalled with 20% interest rates and beyond. That’s what we are entering now. Move fast and get a job before the hiring freezes hit every company. Good luck!

Let it go. You’re allowed to be angry the first day or two. After that, you focus on you and going on to do better things. It’s their loss, you’re better than them. Take this as an opportunity.

Let it go. Move on. Don't be angry. I got let go after more than 20 years. I am not upset. I always knew it could happen. I prepared for it. By the time it happened I knew it would happen. It is life in the corporate world. Big Wigs say "the corporation loves you" - and some foolish folks believe it - because they want to believe it. We all want to be valued. We all want to be loved. But business leaders and elected politicians and dictators and media figures and celebrities and social media stars do not love you. They don't even know you. New adventures lie ahead for me. Good package. Goodbye TMO.

Leadership dont even want to talk about this massive layoff in the all hands and public, they think they can hide it.

Take a look at the competitions layoffs. I know that people were impacted, but the others cut far deeper.

You need to get a grip, process through your feelings and fears, lick your wounds and MOVE ON.
