I wanted to ask and get some other peoples experience to see if it was only me. The last time I got a raise of salary was in 2014. When our stock was close to $30's per share, I asked my manager if I could get a raise because so many of my coworkers were leaving/retiring and not getting back fill so I was asked to do more of the work. I asked around with some of my other coworkers and they had a similar experience saying the only people that see salary increases are the ones that leave and come back.
All the time when I asked for a raise like in 2018 and 2021, all I heard from different managers is just be happy we all still have a job. I wanted to yet your experience of when the last time you got a raise?
