Ambulance took him from home to hospital. His wife said he has been having a really tough time mentally with stress from his work and has been very depressed the last few months. She fully contributed this to Allstate and what it has done to him. I am sure after this he will be done working here. I hate this place for him.

I'm sure this is why they're offering no cost therapy appointments now.
I know a few Allstate people who are or were suffering from depression and anxiety.
I also suffer from anxiety, and Express was literally ki----g me.
Maybe the real stressor in his life is his spouse with no discernment who shares his personal medical information with his coworkers and blames his job during a time of job instability. Smooth move, wifey.

You have to be in a coma for those undertrained fresh out college id--t warm bodies to approve a claim for even days. And when you have a heart attack you’re certainly going to be on the ball fighting with them over picayune paperwork nonsense.
It’s clear why Allstate choses them: another benefit we claim to have but when you go to use it…. How dare you.
I wish that person luck regardless of his personal habits it’s called eggshell and it applies to employees too so wouldn’t question this dysfunctional unethical greedy corp on downslide contributed to his heart attack.
work didn't cause a heart attack. 40 years of eating fast food, drinking, and no exercise in the last 20 years did.

Plenty of agents have committed su----e, drink and take meds to cope with the incompetent leadership issues. Allstate is not worth the stress
So sorry for that worker! I believe it. In my case, stress turned my hair gray! Granted I am not young. However the way we were treated in 2020 (garbage personality tests with games 😡) was so stressful I was grinding my teeth at night. Then workload increased but we are supposed to be lucky to have a job. Allstate should be ashamed.

The poor man and his poor wife. It would break my heart if that were to happen to my spouse. I hope they do not have kids to support.
Hang n there buddy. Time to think about your life and the good times. Job satisfaction s really important. Allstate is the company to get out of. It won’t get better here. It’s just the way it is. They want to see people implode File a workers comp claim and get a settlement.
