Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Pay the veterans with stock shares?

Definitely could be considered if the stock issued is from: Apple, Berkshire Hathaway, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, etc.

Definitely NOT any 3M stock. We want the veterans to be made whole and not issued worthless 3M shares.

For those who continue to disparage veterans on this website, why don’t you direct your anger toward the criminals that brought 3M to the brink of disaster? Your anti-veteran comments are disgraceful.

Million dollar pension? Name calling? Korea? Viet Nam? EAP provides counseling to help you cope. Do yourself and your family a favor and give them a call. Take care of yourself.

I believe it’s 3M that have been lying and doing so for many years. Finally everyone else gets to what 3M workers have known for years, the company is rotten to the core

I have a million dollar 3M pension I worked almost 40 years to earn and I would rather lose it all than see these lying 'veterans' get one nickel. 3M is going to declare bankruptcy to get out of this insanity and you supposedly 'hearing impaired' losers will get NOTHING!!!

"Pro military and pro business. The veteran are entitled to some settlement IF they can prove they used the aearo earplugs. And they followed proper procedures to wear them.

No veteran is entitled to bankrupt a company with 90000 employees and destroy their pensions.

Settle for 5 billion or risk getting peanuts in bankruptcy court"

fu-k the company and the employee pensions, should have been more whistle blowers earlier instead of sitting around covering each own a-s. I hope the company crumbles and everyone drags their knuckles to the unemployment line.

No company (3M) is entitled to produce inferior products (earplugs) causing hearing loss and/or tinnitus impacting 230,000 Americans OR poison drinking water in a multitude of countries. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
