Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Very disorganized

It used to not be like that, but now it's a big mess. Management is mostly to blame. The wrong people are in managerial positions and they are one of the biggest reasons why I am no longer proud to work here. Most are forced to wear multiple hats. New hires are literally "lost" when they come here. Sorry for this venting. I know that the golden years will not return, but I wonder if it is even possible to expect anything to improve here?

For anyone who missed recent post embedded in an older The Layoff conversation…...
“Vernova will not have a Schenectady presence is what I have heard in NYC, in certain...places....
Pensions from Power will be shifted to Vernova and therefore will be reduced or eliminated completely. Vernova will be sold to either Siemens or Toshiba. Sorry. I wish all of you who have spent your lives there the best, but this is the truth.”

I worked for Power and Aviation for a total of 20 years. Yes, management is the root cause of the failures. Nepotism is a close second.

Management has always tried to blame everything on others. No accountability and lack of core values is valued by GE.

The only improvement is if Gar turns into a revolving door like GE wants it. Trying to get the big house ready for the new super nova company.
