Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Not paid for all hours worked

Who do we contact if we weren’t paid for all hours worked that last week that we were laid off? I knew that was gonna happen due to the fact that we were paid for that week before we even punched out on our last day.

Email HR immediately. I did today and they actually got back to me fast and already have said Monday I will have it deposited. All very odd. I think they screwed a lot of people.

If in California contact the California State Labor Board. Believe me, BB&B doesn't want to deal with them if you were shorted hours and pay. Just ask the Walmart employees.

At any company, contact HR immediately and make them aware. They don't want that kind of legal trouble, if what you say is what really happened.

I’m in California & I got paid the night before my last day, because in California you have to be paid upon exit… on my last day my paystub for that pay was at the store. I was paid properly but you get taxed a ton of money. It was like 35-40% I paid about $900.00 in taxes … totally sucked! So get your pay stub & you can see the break down.
