What an absolute joke and shitshow I have signed onto this year. commercial sales AHOD today illustrated exactly what a disaster the leadership in the org has created.
Want to talk about crazy? One rep got recognized for hitting 1100% of quota while anyone can plainly see the team she was on did 105% total. This means one rep for the whole team is hitting the numbers and the rest are not making sh-t. This complete lack of parity in sales territories has lead to an exodus like I’ve never seen and then leadership wants to boast about how we hired 70 new reps in a climate where folks are benign laid off as if it isn’t a disparate and fu---d up comp/territory plan that drove any decent sales person away.
I don’t care what way you slice it, no amount of effort can 11X your quota. I really don’t understand how leadership can stand up there and give kudos for these numbers with a straight face. It’s embarrassing.
I like to see people succeed, but busting my a-s just to try to make my quota when a few reps are taking in 6 figure spiffs off of a lucky territory placement is infuriating. Wouldn’t be surprised if 70% of this org was axed come closing time.
