The best advice is always to be prepared and have a back up plan. I have already started to negotiate for my next job because I think there is no future in Citrix. I can't even imagine what this will look like in a few years, but I'm almost sure it won't look good at all...

It was great working with all of you. We had a pretty good thing going there for a little while. A lot of good work was accomplished regardless of what the Executive level goons turned it into. Godspeed to all. I’m out!
You're so right. Tech industry is always changing. Mergers and takeovers are common. Best you can do is keep your skills up-to-date, and don't be loyal to any one company. They don't care about you, so you shouldn't care about them. You do a job and they pay you. That's reallly all there is.
