Maybe this thread can steer us Layoffers back on the right track of sharing juicy company rumors we’ve heard. Anyone got anything?

For example:

  • raise percentages
  • sites being pressured to chat OPEX cost, which implies lower raises
  • changing vacation allocation in 2023
  • new HR policies slipping under the radar
  • “restacking” employees at EMHC (love the lack of empathy with that term; stacking us like objects on a shelf)

I will bet money raises are minimal. Wake up and smell the obvious plan. They want us all to quit so they don’t have to fire us as they replace everyone with engineers from overseas.

If the vacation rumor is true it is a good indication they aren’t even trying to stop attrition anymore. Rather than address the causes they are trying to minimize the impact to their wallet. Obvious at this point they want us to leave so they can replace us with engineers overseas. If they make this change it is just another example they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.
