I spent several wonderful years here, but this is not the same company anymore. Constant cuts have destroyed morale completely.
I wonder if it is worth staying and stressing out about whether I will be affected in the next round of layoffs?
I know there is no such thing as a "safe job" anywhere, but there are definitely many places where people work under less pressure and with much less uncertainty.

Environment is so toxic that I feel good only when I work from home. my colleagues are good, I like them, It's the Institution itself, the building, the walls, that emit poison
Do yourself a favor and GET OUT! I was there 18 years and glad Im gone. Better days ahead and other companies are like night and day.
I feel the same. I have never on my career worried about getting laid off multiple times a year as I have here. Exploring the market for potential jobs is a good thing and if the right opportunity comes up, take it.
I left in June for a competitor and it’s night and day - so much better across the board at my new company. Do yourself a big favor and get out of there. AIG is truly a terrible, toxic organization, thanks in large part to AIG 200 (among other things).
I am starting a new job 10/3/2022 and it was a giant weight off my shoulders. If you can get out get out the stress is not worth it!
