Working from home is the only thing that is keeping many of us in this mess. It is literally the only thing Citrix has going for it at this point. If I am forced to return to the office even two days a week, I'm done. There's nothing I could be offered to make me reconsider. I can guarantee you I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Citrix sucks bad.
I can't believe so many adults behave like children at Citrix. Citrix is a for-profit company. I have been a Citrite for +12 years and I trust my ability to get a new job if I need to. I do love the work I do, so that helps me not care about all the drama. Ever since Mark Templeton left Citrix, we have slowly turned into a different company. There is good and bad everywhere. Look at your own household. You have difference of opinions on probably most topics discussed at the dinner table. Your children may be good kids but some mis-behave. You just deal with it. So, be an adult and deal with change. Stop whining like babies. If you don't like things and can't endure corporate life, quit and go become your own boss and craft your own path. Life is full of beautiful options for everyone. Don't be so bitter. Don't worry about the decisions others make. Worry about your own.
I have seen Tony's emails and heard him speak for over 6 years. I would find it hard to believe that he "went rogue". That was a carefully crafted email and I'm sure however people are feeling about it is exactly how they wanted them to feel.
Any chance Tony went rogue or was set up? All his email did was create company-wide panic and dramatic loss of productivity. Nobody knows anything and everyone going through their options instead of working
TK doesn't realize that if they keep this up, they will have purchased a (tarnished) name, and nothing more. Without your engineers and experienced tech support personnel, you have no product. And I can't name a single person who is happy with RTO. NOBODY will be willing to purchase or even retain a product facilitating a large portion of their enterprise under these conditions. They simply cannot be guaranteed that the product will even be useful and reliable and that if something goes wrong, that they will have support. Even if TK hired a complete new engineering and tech support staff, it would be YEARS before there was enough knowledge amassed to properly support the products. And from what I'm seeing, very few are applying for positions--would YOU? TK wants to sell the company off in pieces. But there is not going to be anything worth selling... (and who would even buy it?)
TK - has a 2 year contract , then gone .
I think this is a real possibility. I have a habit of turning down unsolicited advances from hiring managers at places that pay more (and have more prestige) because I didn’t want the possibility of being forced to commute again. The deal is being altered without my consent, so those advances will be harder to turn down. If that’s what the new owners want, that’s fine. I just hope they really know what they’re getting into with this decision.
The obvious ploy to downvote this board is hilarious. Tony the Gnome at his finest. Or is it Tommy’s Dog? Either way, the tactics employed here won’t change the reality of the workforce.
I don't think the votes are important - please keep posting.
LOL, watching the negatives on the posts change by the minute. HOW PATHETIC.
Looks like the Krause minions are here to downvote any negative comments. This isn't Amazon, minions. Nobody is going to look at the negative downvotes and think "Yeah, they're right, Krause is a great guy." There are a thousand employees who don't even know about this site; if they did, the upvotes on the negative comments would be +1000.
It will be interesting to see how this works out. I've been in support and we've been running very understaffed for some time. We only have a handful of senior staff left and they have all voiced the same sentiment.
Not sure how much deeper into the bone they can cut and still have a functioning organization.
Sux to be you, tk!
Exactly. This is designed to get people to quit; no severance. Tom Krause is truly a horrible person. He will do anything to line his own pockets. Maybe someday people can explain to his kids just how bad a person their father is.
I’m pretty sure that is the point. They want as many people to quit as possible before they go through with massive layoffs
