Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Week 3 of Retirement

3 weeks have passed since and I am slowly getting used to not being employed. The entire process is a$$ backwards. I wonder if the folks at NESC are working on make shift pallet desks and sitting on buckets.

I have been retired for a little over 6 months. Like others have said it is an adjustment.
I miss my coworkers and the daily interaction but I don't miss Ford.

I hate Ford for what it did to people regarding the forced vaccinations and the recent layoffs. I can't believe the talented people Ford terminated. The company is truly up schits creek without a paddle. Current poor quality and recalls proves it.

Will never buy another Ford product ever!

I took the buyout last October and was pretty miserable throughout the winter. Come spring things changed and I began doing small projects for my family and friends to stay busy and feel productive.

My wife and I do travel and go out, but some sort of work is still important to me.

Personally, I didn't think I would have such a hard time adjusting but then again everyone is different.
